California Transparency in Supply Chains Act Disclosure

Baldwin Richardson Foods Co., “BRF”, strives to conduct business ethically and in a manner consistent with our values, which includes promoting respect for human rights throughout our operations and supply chain. 

We expect our suppliers to share these values and adhere to the expectations and standards outlined in our Supplier Code of Conduct, which prohibits the use of forced labor, child labor, prison labor, human trafficking, and other forms of involuntary labor.

BRF works to understand and manage potential risks within its supply chain through supplier management processes and by communicating our expectations to BRF employees and suppliers through informal messaging and training. We also continue to evaluate opportunities to strengthen our policies, practices, and programs related to responsible sourcing and human rights. 

BRF expects suppliers to operate in compliance with applicable laws and our Supplier Code of Conduct. We may review supplier performance and address concerns as appropriate through our supplier management processes and contractual relationships. BRF does not, however, currently conduct third-party verifications, supplier audits, or obtain supplier certifications specific to human rights matters.  

We are committed to promoting ethical business practices across our organization and continue to assess ways to enhance awareness, oversight, and accountability related to human rights and responsible labor practices within our supply chain.
